It begins with the impact of the mercantilism of England on the colonies and looks at the expansionist policies of a new nation. It examines the theory and the state of affairs that brought about Wilsonian Internationalism. The Allied Coalition and the League of Nations was the basis for a policy of Internationalism that preceded the Cold War.
